Donation - LAFF
Introducing the LAFF donation available in our store, in support of London's Autistic Family Foundation (LAFF). This foundation.charity was created in honor of my now 3 year old son, London, born with health difficulties and then recently, on June 23, 2023, he diagnosed with autism, developmental delay disorder, and speech delay disorder.
Your donation will help support the important work of the foundation in providing resources and support for families affected by autism and other developmental/speech challenges. With every LAFF donation, you are making an enormous difference in the lives of these children, like London, and helping to create a more inclusive and supportive community for individuals with special needs.
Every child deserves access to the care and therapy they need, but for families with autistic children, the cost is insurmountable. At over $170,000 per year per child for basic care such as speech therapy, ABA therapy, and occupational therapy, the financial burden can be overwhelming to those us who are not rich or at/under the poverty level. On top of that, parents often have to purchase specialized toys and equipment for home use, further adding to the financial strain.
LAFF aims to provide support to families who fall between getting help through governmental assistance & those who can afford all of the out of pocket expenses, so that all children have access to the care they need and deserve.
